Question: A clock loses 36 minutes every day. After how many days will the clock show the correct time again?

Solution:
We know that on a 12-hour clock, the hands complete one full cycle in 12 hours.
12 hours = 12 × 60 = 720 minutes
Therefore, when the clock has lost 720 minutes, it will again indicate the correct time.

Given, 
36 minutes lost = 1 day
So, 720 minutes lost =720/36 = 20 days

Therefore, the clock will show the correct time again after 20 days.

Question: If the day after tomorrow is Saturday, then what day was yesterday?

Solution:
If the day after tomorrow is Saturday, then today is Thursday.
Therefore, yesterday was Wednesday.
